The Background:

Not much really.  I thought these images might be interesting, a picture tells a thousand words they say.  All the images are just relative to each other.  Focus, white balance and exposure we completely static between each image so the only effect was that of the gamma selected.  The Iris was on 'auto' for STD1 to set the initial exposure, then it was switched to manual.  The chart is a DIY colour chart printed from a Canon IJ printer on matte photo paper.  This is not meant to show colour accuracy, just the difference in the way colours and levels are represented in the different Gamma curves.
